Operating Theatres

The major surgical procedures are performed in a well equipped main theatre while the minor operations in the theatre at the casualty department. A wide range of general and specialized surgical procedures are performed including digestive system surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, plastic and reconstructive surgery and urology.

The number of operations in 2003 were 555 and 793 the anaesthesias both general or loco-regional.

A particular theatre is equipped for making plasters of paris, transkeletal tractions, external bones fixations and fractures reductions. These procederes are usually done under immaging intensifier.
