PUBLIC HEALTH

At this hospital much effort is put on prevention and Health Services especially for mothers and children, through universal immunisation (UCI) and mother and child health (M.C.H) programmes.

Other activities are enviromental health services, control of outbreaks of communicable diseases and malaria control and prevention programmes.

Seven health posts in the hospital catchment area are periodically visited by the Environmental Health Technologists who deliver health demonstration talks and immunizations of children and pregnant women.
